Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director best known as the star of Birdman. A versatile actor, he can perform comic and dramatic parts. His work has led him to perform a number of love-interest characters as well as appearing in a few action thrillers. In his teenage years the actor developed an appreciation in performing and acting. Then, he tried stand-up comedic performances in his teens. Even though his stand-up act wasn't a success, it did to open the way for his acting. The comedian was not able to make success as comedian, so the next step was to become a cameraman at an online cable channel. The job at the station was where he discovered that the only thing he really wanted was to perform before cameras. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got a television part. He was a natural actor who soon gained a lot of attention in the world of television. When he began his film career his aspirations were high and was well-known for his comic-book roles. His career was further enhanced after he was praised for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and ventured into production and direction. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
