Christina Hendricks was an American actress, best known as Joan Holloway. She played the role in seven seasons of AMC's period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The series has earned her critical praise and the show received six Emmy award nominations for the top supporting actress category. The span of her career, which has spanned more than two decades, includes appearances on the comedy crime series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama.
